Comprehensive
Behavioral Health Care
Mental and emotional well-being are foundational to overall physical health. At Nexus Mind & Medical Center, we deliver evidence-based psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, continuous mental health assessments, and careful medication management for adolescents and adults ages 12 and older.

Whole-person psychiatry
Psychological symptoms, read alongside physical ones.
Led by Charlotte Fatiregun, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, our clinic understands how physical health conditions directly influence mental wellness. We evaluate psychological symptoms alongside medical and medication-related factors—such as thyroid abnormalities, vitamin deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, and sleep disorders—to establish clear, accurate diagnoses and balanced treatment plans.

Clinical modalities & service structure
How psychiatric care works here.
- 01
Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations
Initial evaluations are scheduled for approximately 45 to 60 minutes based on clinical complexity and patient needs. During this appointment, we review symptom history, prior treatments, medical background, family psychiatric history, and lifestyle factors to establish an accurate diagnosis and baseline treatment plan.
- 02
Evidence-Based Psychiatric Medication Management
When pharmacotherapy is clinically indicated, we select medications tailored to your diagnostic profile. We monitor therapeutic response, minimize side effects, explain medication mechanisms, and adjust dosages over time. Follow-up visit lengths vary depending on complexity and treatment response.
- 03
Integrated Supportive Counseling
We provide supportive therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, and stress-reduction strategies directly within medication management appointments.
(Clinical Scope Notice: For patients requiring intensive, standalone weekly psychotherapy such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR, we coordinate external referrals to qualified licensed therapists and psychologists in the community.)
Secure Texas telehealth services
Care that reaches across the state.
To ensure accessible care across Texas, we provide secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth psychiatry appointments for eligible patients physically located within the state.
LegitScript & controlled substance prescribing policy
Prescriptions for psychiatric medications, including controlled substances (such as stimulant medications for ADHD or specific anxiolytics), are prescribed only when clinically indicated following a complete medical and psychiatric evaluation and required clinical monitoring. An appointment or clinical evaluation does not guarantee that a prescription or controlled substance will be issued. Prescriptions are written solely at the professional clinical discretion of the treating provider. All controlled substance prescribing adheres strictly to Texas Medical Board rules, the Texas Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP), and federal DEA regulations.
